Creation 03:44
In the beginning there was only chaos, Then out of the void appeared Erebus, The unknowable place where death dwells, and night, All else was empty, endless, silent darkness, Then somehow love was born, bringing the start of order, From love came light and day, And Gaia appeared, Then Erebus slept with night, Who then gave birth to Ether, the heavenly light, And to Day the earthly light was born, And night alone produced all things that haunt man from the darkness, Doom, fate, death, sleep and dreams, Came from the darkness, Thus formed sin, Gaia alone gave birth to the heavens, As her lover they surrounded her every side, Then out of the void appeared the unknowable place wherein there dwells nights death, (Doom, fate, death) Then somehow love was born, bringing a start of order, Then Gaia, the Earth, appeared.

On the Earth the Titans walked, The first twelve children of the first Gods, Wronged by a father paranoid of being dethroned, Their mother hatched a plan, Gave the youngest means to end an unjust imprisonment, From his blood came the Fates, From his essence the sea gave birth to Aphrodites, The three oracles of the world arose to judge the ways of all on Earth, As another father took the throne, The same fears he prevented came into his mind, He swallowed all his children as they were born, Lest they discover power and take him on, But Rhea pleaded mercy and leads him on, And Zeus was taken care of, the final son, Gained the strength to overthrow his father, Raised by nymphs atop a mountain he came into his own, When Kronus thought him swallowed whole, Tricked by Rhea who took a stone wrapped up in cloth, He dethroned his own father, On the Earth the Titans walked, Freed by their newest leader, On Mount Olympus sat his throne as he watched over, The other Gods sat by his side expressing human nature, In its complete, imperfect, form, They became an order, Strength and fear, unfaithfulness and love, Admiration, anger, jealousy and joy, Unmatched beauty.

And as they put to bed their worries, Their father comes and strikes them from the Earth, Imprisoned in the womb which birthed them, They succumb to rage and bitterness, We're coming for your life, This is something more than betrayal, This is something more than hate, They swear on the grave of their mother that they will put this right, Freed from the cell that binds them, they take off in the night, Don't push us we said, We're coming for your head, Don't push us we said, They fall on him as he sleeps in bed, Blood hungry and looking for a fight, They claim back what was their birthright, And as they put to bed their worries, Their brother comes and frees them from this place, Where they are prisoners in the womb that gave them life, Consumed with rage, they want his life, Consumed by blame they take their time, Every last detail is closely examined, (Zeus is planning for the end of it all) It's cold and calculated.

In the kingdom of the damned resides a man with ruthless ambition, Greedy beyond imagining, looking to expand, Place a coin upon her lips so she can make the awful journey, Place a coin upon his lips so he can join her there, In the palace of the damned, Hades waits with open arms for those who hate, Looking to increase the number of souls that dine in his walls, They are all made to feel grateful, When they can't leave of their own accord, Trapped forevermore, Between the Cocytus and the Styxx is where he resides, Looking to further his might, In the kingdom of the damned there rules a man, With ruthless ambition, greedy beyond belief, Place a coin upon her lips, So she can make the passage into the underworld, Where she'll face judgement from the Triumvirate, She's praying for the Elysium Fields, When they pass their sentence, decide her fate.
5.
A babe was born of both God and man, A paragon of masculinity, A hero for both man and child as he grew into his own skin, Offered the choice between pleasure and virtue, He chose a life of great strife, But from this life he was given glory, And glory welcomed him and shaped his heroic future, Driven mad by a mad goddess he slew his own children, And to make up for his crime, He was required to complete, Ten tasks of labour, As charged by Eurystheus, his enemy, He took it all in his stride, Wearing the skin of a lion slain by his hand, He both helped and hindered to make up for his crime, But before his tasks completed his nemesis had found, A way to call it false, For the help he'd found, The hydra wasn't slain alone, The stables, he took payment, And though he couldn't have either of those he held the sky for a Titan, As the apples were plucked from the garden of Nymphs in Hesperides, Charged with bringing home Hades hound from the underworld, When the beast was presented the king just fled, (In fear for his head) With a name that contradicts itself, (With broad strength) The man earned his place with the Gods and delights in the grand feast with the deathless on high.

I am a man and man has his desires, I am a God, so I take what I want, Come here girl, come hold me close, Let me show you love like you've never had before, This is the last chance that I'll give you before I turn aside for just some other whore, Don't let me be your love, Don't let me be deceit, I am nothing more than you want me to be, I am the mighty Zeus so get on your knees, Love me if you need, Don't expect me to concede, I rule my own needs, I just need you to fuck me, To the despair of Hera, Her husband returns home with another doll on his shoulder, She led the gods in revolt and he hung her from chains in the sky, You took me in and I let you down, I'm sorry love, it won't happen again, If you promise me and I can see that you are not what you appear to be, Become the man you're born to be, Become the ruler that we need, Don't be a primal beast, Your family needs you, I don't need any of this, What more could you possibly need? I am the man you want me to be, The ruler of the Gods, I sit atop Mount Olympus and watch all mortals worship me, I'm in control, I am a man and man has his desires, I am a God, If you promise me and I can see that you are not what you appear to be, (I can't promise you that things will change) (I don't believe that this is wrong) Become the man you're born to be, Become the ruler that we need, (I am a God) Become a hero, (I am my love)

Gluttony and everything gold, It was all he wished for, A wise man in arts and lore, Couldn't curb his greed, So when granted his godly wish, it was all he could ask for, I wish all I touch was gold, Then I would be a rich man, Powerful beyond belief, (Think about the consequences) But of course he didn't take heed, For his mind was naive and restless, In his heart his only need was wealth, (Think of what you're doing) But he didn't think twice, He got what he deserved, (He knows that this could only bring him down) Call it a lesson learned, His wish was granted and, like or not, with any contact precious rock sprung from his fingertips, His wish was curse in disguise, He couldn't eat, drink or love, He couldn't live, What have I done? Pray release me now, I was so wrong, I didn't understand, So now you notice just what your greed did bring, No thought or logic, just suffering, So go to Pactolus and wash away your sins, Think hard upon this day and just what you have done here, And the wise King Midas was free once more, A little older and little less naive, Carried in the bed of Pactolus, Reminder of his sins, And another country prospered with the discovery of gold, And the Midas Touch was etched into fable, Another man and another myth another life lesson to learn.

Let the die be cast upon a forgotten myth, Perverted by artists and ironically irony itself, Invitation to the garden banquet never was presented, And angered by this was discord as she plotted her response, To the fairest read the scripture, And three goddesses rose to claim it, Aphrodites, Athena and Hera took blessing from Hesperides, To bite the hand that feeds, Eris laughed herself to glee as her apple caused disruption, And uncomforted the serene balance of power within the court of the Gods, Three candidates bathed in the spring of Ida, Then were presented before a Trojan mortal to be judged, As charged by Zeus, Paris drew into his mind, And judged the three in turn with undoubting fairness, For he already had proven his worth, When his prize bull was bested, I grow old, always learning many things, And not even the Gods fight necessity, So let the die be cast and give me somewhere to stand, Each goddess in turn tried to convince him, But to only one did he place the apple of discord in her hand, As a gift the goddess presented a wife, beautiful to behold, And in rage a war was started to retrieve their bride, And within a war waged for decades, A goddesses wrath was felt like shockwaves through the ground, She turned the tide to spite the winner of her judgement day.
