Crushing all sense of direction,
It’s overwhelming, this growing fear,
It’ unbearable, this suffocation,

They offer no means of escape,
They will pull me under,
I will drown under their presence,

I don’t need to you believe me,

I am left with a hollow feeling,
Claustrophobia, as the skyscrapers call me to rest,

I scream out, my face turns white,
In fear of what I don’t understand,
Bending over I pick up the scraps,
What’s left of this broken man?

There is nothing left but a hollow shell,

Now look back at what you could have been,
These top floors could have housed your true love,

As I walk away,
(It feels like I have left my heart behind)
